Brief Description
This equipment adopts recycled dissolved air technology and microbubble adsorption flotation principle to rapidly separate light oil contaminants and fine flocs from wastewater. The unit supports fully automatic operation with stable start-up & shutdown performance and low failure rate. It is mainly applicable to wastewater with low sediment content, and can continuously produce qualified effluent to meet conventional sewage discharge standards.
Product Overview
The standard horizontal flow DAF is a versatile skid-mounted integrated wastewater treatment facility. Coagulation reaction zone, pressurized air dissolution system, flotation separation zone, automatic scum skimming mechanism and electric control system are all integrated on a single skid. All components are fully prefabricated and assembled in factory; only on-site pipeline connection is required to complete commissioning and formal operation. Based on mature horizontal flow air flotation technology, the machine features solid structure, reliable operation and easy daily maintenance. It is specially designed to remove hardly settleable emulsified oil, light suspended solids, fine fibers and colloidal impurities in water. As a mainstream air flotation equipment with stable performance and wide adaptability, it is widely used as pretreatment for various oily industrial wastewater.
Working Principle
Recycled water is pressurized and fully aerated inside the dissolved air tank to generate a large number of tiny microbubbles. Microbubbles adhere and bind to emulsified oil and fine flocs in wastewater, reducing the overall density of pollutants. Pollutants then quickly float upward to the water surface and form concentrated scum layer. The automatic scum skimmer continuously scrapes off surface scum, while treated clean water is collected and discharged from the tank bottom, finally realizing solid-liquid separation and oil-water separation.
